Ductile Iron Covers

Description

Ductile iron manhole covers from A15 to F900 loading. All the ductile iron covers we supply are manufactured to BS EN124 and available in the below load ratings:

A15 – 1.5T pedestrian foot traffic and cyclists
B125 – 12.5T footpath and driveway
C250 – 25T kerbside
D400 – 40T estate slow moving heavy traffic or highway fast moving heavy traffic* (available in 100mm & 150mm depths)
E600 – 60T non-turning fork lift areas (150mm depths only)
F900 – 90T dock/airport areas (150mm depths only)
* Not all D400 covers are the same. There are a selection of D400 covers which offer different capabilities:
Non-carriageway product – suitable for use in areas subject to slow-moving low density traffic
Carriageway product – suitable for use in carriageways subject to low density, high or slow moving traffic
Heavy duty product – suitable for use in carriageways subject to high density, high speed traffic

Alongside ductile iron cover & frames, Class A surface boxes and loop boxes are also available
